Metal Improvement
Company’s network of coating facilities has expanded
with the addition of two coating application facilities
from Diversified Coatings, Inc. that specialize in the
application of high performance coatings for automotive
industry components. The two new MIC facilities are
located in Fremont, IN and Ingersoll, Ontario. The 72,000-square-foot
Fremont facility previously operated as Allegheny Coatings
- Fremont, and the 44,000-square-foot Ingersoll facility
operated as Diversified Coatings Canada.
Both facilities utilize highly automated spray coating
lines to apply high performance coatings for corrosion,
oxidation and lubricity purposes.
Collectively, the facilities are the leading North American
applicator of zinc rich coatings for automotive industry
brake rotors and ball studs, and they provide coating
application services for the farm equipment, trailer,
military, marine and construction equipment industries.

- Doerken (Delta-Tone, Delta-Seal, Delta-Protekt)

- Dry film lubricants (Everlube®)
- Aluminum rich coatings (SermaGard®)
- Whitford (Xylan, Xylac, Xylar)
- High performance powder coatings
- Chrome free corrosion resistant coatings
- Powdered metal porosity sealing coatings (Pamlico
575 and 1092)
